This portable a/c I can just push into a corner easily. Everything you need on Comfort Aire Air Conditioners, including model details, industry rankings and customer reviews, all in one place. I much prefer this over a window a/c as I don't have the space to store that in the winter. I see there is one complaint but isn't there always? Just make sure you're not trying to cool a room that is too big for the size unit you're using, that all windows are closed and follow the directions in the manual. Portable air conditioners: are designed for. Expect to pay around 800 to 3,000 for a reverse system unit. These systems are generally a little more expensive than pure cooling systems, but might be ideal for those living in temperamental climates. I have two of them, one for downstairs and one for upstairs at night. Reverse system air conditioners: can be used all year round as they can heat and cool a room. Now no store around here can keep these things on the shelves as customers are right there when the pallet rolls out. But in the last 3 years it's become very bad. I live in southwestern Nova Scotia and it never got hot or humid enough here for an air conditioner. Since I live in an old A Frame and it's on fuses, (believe it or not) I couldn't go higher than 5000 watts on this, but it's definitely enough. This thing is a life saver! I get heat exhaustion easily.
